Jo, and his Philly cheesesteaks along with chicken wings and burgers is one of those places. I didn't know much about it, because I'm not from Rochester. I'm from Chicago, stopping in to see my son at Mayo. I got the Jo's double barrel. Awesome! No skimping on anything. Cooked just right, and Joe's special sauce is the diggity. I also got the loaded fries, the cheese steak fries. They are a little spicy, plus, very very good. Everything had a lot of flavor, even the conversation was good, and if I'm ever back this way, I'm going to stop in! You can see by my reviews, I only post what's good! I don't criticize anyone, and, if I don't like a place, I won't review it. Jo's Philly cheese steaks are the shizzy. Support your local businesses and spread the word around the community. “ Had to go to Roch today to the Altra credit union. (Out of town) I remembered getting some food from this place right across and absolutely loved it. Went in and the young man greeted me with a smile and gave me the Wednesday deal early! Got one cheesesteak not spicy and the other spicy . Waited for the hour drive home to eat , well worth it Talked about footballs past ,while my food was being prepared is something I needed. Once I realized I was in Eagles territory . The experience and the food is why I will be back again! Told em I'm coming back with my Cowboys jersey on, and they said we have curbside pickup available Such a big difference, when someone cares about the food they are preparing. Both experiences were like that I will go spicy always moving forward , but be warned if you say you like it real hot they do not hold back Onions rings in the air fryer ,after they sit in the fridge for a bit is the way to go ! Wish I lived closer to try more options . I had both sandwiches fully loaded with all toppings. ”

“ Came in for a lunch pickup - Got two of the spicy chicken sandwiches with a side of onion rings. I don't even have words for the sandwich. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had in my life- the sauce/chili sauce was the perfect compliment to the slaw. It was a very messy sandwich, but it was 100% worth the sacrifice of the roll of paper towels. Will come back as often as I can! ”

“ Me and my boyfriend went inside and were welcomed right away by the owner and a lovely woman. It took about 20 mins for our food but it was well worth the wait. The chicken sandwich is what I got and what you see in the picture. It was called the southerner and it looked amazing when she brought it to me. It tasted just as good as it looked. My boyfriend got the cheesy fries with chicken instead of steak. He said his was good as well. I will not cap they are the biggest chicken breast I have ever seen and they were FULLY cooked!
